How much did the DC-DC converter cost you? I really wouldn't do electric steering. I'm waiting to know if that controller will work??!!

Always good to have an Emergency disconnect. I've needed mine once, its a life-saver. How much did that cost you, and what current breaking rating does it have?

What speed are you getting from your car Amerjack? I know you are not too concerned about top speed, but with that controller I'd be surprised to see >25mph?

These are less than half price right now, just £19.99 from Argos and very good, 12amps which is enough because you will likely only run your batteries 2/3rds down at most, and 12amps will be perfect for overnight chargehttp://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7402106.htm

The charge profile for AGM vs Wet Lead Acid is not very different. A slightly lower final voltage, but most chargers have a switch for type, or are automatic. Either way the difference is about 0.2v and wont kill your batteries. From the back, it looks like your Industrial charger is 24v?? It is better to have four individual 12v chargers rather than charging two in series (because they can become imbalanced)

I will be very interested to hear what speed you can get. I said all along I will be surprised if you can reach 30mph with that controller. Have you taken it for a test drive yet?
